Alternative Breaks, located in the Public Service Center is a student run service-learning program that explores social justice issues through service, education, and reflection. We offer service trips during the spring break in the following locations: San Francisco, Oakland, South Bay, Central Valley, San Diego, and Puerto Rico. Each trip is paired with a 2 unit decal created by each trip leader in the spring semester where participants reflect on the theoretical framework behind their service trip.
